got asked by a friend if they needed to treat us differently now that we're on HRT

and that caused a little reflection
approx. 2 weeks ago was our 3 year anniversary on HRT, we just didn't make a big song and dance of it at the time because circumstances mean we will likely always have to DIY unless we leave the UK or some future government drops the lived experience shit and/or legally recognizes non-binary status ¹

the main reason we're more open about it now is because now we can breast boobily down the stairs a little, but there's no reason for people to treat us differently from before they knew ²

1. if they legally recognize non-binary status but still require lived experience then i guess we'd amass a collection of 90s ski jackets just to show fashion (we've meant to get some for a while, a used clothing place near work

2. apart from affirming massages if some critters want to offer them i guess
